Reports indicate the United States may consider purchasing Greenland, sparking interest from Bitcoin miners due to the island's power projects. Greenland plans a public tender in 2026 for two hydropower sites, Tasersiaq and Tarsartuup Tasersua, potentially producing over 9,500 gigawatt-hours annually.
